A picturesque and plural fresco of morocco with a diversity of landscapes to be visited including the visit of the big south of Morocco. A departure is scheduled each two weeks for a minimum of 4 people. The duration of the tour is 11 days, 10 nights. The programmed cities are Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes, Fez, Midelt, Erfoud, Tineghir, Ouarzazate, Ait Benhaddou, Marrakesh, Essaouira and Oualidia

 

Day 1  CASABLANCA / AIRPORT

Arrival at Casablanca Mohamed V airport. Welcome, Assistance and transfer to the hotel in Casablanca. Check-in. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2  CASABLANCA / RABAT (95 KM)

Morning visit of Casablanca, the economical capital of Morocco : the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the Mohamed V and United Nations squares, the Central Market, the Habbous quarter and the residential area of Anfa. Stroll along the Aïn Diab seaside. Independent lunch. Departure to Rabat : visit of the administrative capital of Morocco with the Hassan tower, the Mohamed V Mausoleum, the Casbah of Oudayas and the medina. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3  RABAT / MEKNES / FEZ (270 KM)

Departure to Fez with the visit of the Roman ruins of Volubilis . Continue to Meknes. Independent lunch. Visit of the city formerly known as «the Moroccan Versaille», Bab Mansour, the most preserved gate in Morocco, Hari Sound and the old media. Arrival in Fez. Check-in. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4  FEZ

The whole day is dedicated to the sightseeing of Fez : visit of the medieval medina, the medersas, the karaouine mosque and the famous Nejjarine Fountain. Independent lunch. Continuation of the visit through the old medina. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Chefchaouen / FEZ

This stunning Moroccan city in the Rif Mountains was originally built as a fortress in the 15th century. The mountains towering over Chefchaouen resemble a pair of goat’s horns, and, perhaps not coincidentally, the creamy native goat cheese is one of the most popular regional treats. Architecture enthusiasts will marvel at the Jewish-inspired blue-tinted buildings, octagonal mosque and Spanish ruins.

fter breakfast depart to Chefchaouen. Upon arrival install at your hotel, and after, wander around the blue and white washed alleys of the city and its Instagram photogenic spots. Chechaouen also offer a short hiking trail to the Blue church, for with a magnificent panoramic view.

 

Day 6 : Fes / Ifrane / Midelt / ERFOUD 440KM

Depart Fes and pass through the winter ski resort of Ifrane, built by the French in the 1930s to resemble a Swiss village. Continue through the cedar forest of Azrou and look for the resident monkeys before your drive across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Wind your way through beautiful forests, mountain springs, jagged rocks and Berber villages before your descent to the Sahara Desert.

Stop for lunch half-way in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. Then, continue towards Merzouga taking in the panoramic views of a huge oasis of palm trees at Ziz along the way. Upon arrival inErfoud the Capital of Dates ,fossils and rocks series of fortified villages . Arrival in Erfoud and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 7 :  Merzouga Overnight Camel Trek over Erg Chebbi Dunes

Excursion by Toyota Land Cruiser  and Camel to Merzouga dunes.

Head into Morocco’s Sahara Desert on a camel and watch the sun set over the Erg Chebbi Dunes. This overnight tour offers spectacular views and a chance to experience the desert nomad lifestyle. Eat a traditional Moroccan tagine, take part in a drum circle, and sleep in an authentic Berber tent. See pink flamingoes at an oasis near Merzouga, and search for desert reptiles and mammals as you trek.

Day 8 ERFOUD / TINEGHIR / OUARZAZATE (340 KM)

Departure to Tineghir via Rissani. Visit of the ruins of Ksar Abbar and through the Tinjdad road, arrival at Todra Gorges. Independent lunch. Continuation to Ouarzazate via El Kelâa M´gouna and the Dades valley. Arrival in Ouarzazate. Check-in. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 9  OUARZAZATE / AÏT BENHADDOU / MARRAKESH (205 KM)

Visit of Ouarzazate with Tifoult and Taourirt Kasbahs. Then departure to Aït Ben Haddou village. Independent lunch. Visit of the ruins of this ancient Kasbah, Continuation via the Tiz-In-Tichka pass and Taddert to Marrakesh. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 10  MARRAKESH

The entire day will be spent visiting Marrakesh : the Saadian tombs, the Koutoubia, the Bahia palace and the Menara gardens. Independent lunch. Visit of the souks, and the Djemaâ El Fna square. Retum to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 11and 12  Marrakesh : Ourika Valley and Atlas Mountains Day Tour

Explore the Ourika Valley in the High Atlas Mountains on a full-day sightseeing tour from Marrakesh. See traditional Berber homes, and visit a women’s argan oil co-operative. Refresh yourself by stunning waterfalls, and stop at roadside souks.

Day 13  MARRAKESH / ESSAOUIRA (195 KM) Full-Day Trip to Essaouira

Depart Marrakech in the morning and drive to the coastal resort of Essaouira

Spend the day in the laid-back seaside town of Essaouira and discover its historic monuments at leisure. Wander the maze of alleys in the souks, watch the fishermen arrive back on land in their traditional blue boats and more.

Depart Marrakech in the morning and drive to the coastal resort of Essaouira to explore its rich culture and many art galleries. Admire the well-preserved buildings and get stunning views of the Atlantic coast.

 

Experience the warm hospitality of the locals as soon as you arrive, and get an appreciation for their simple lifestyle. Stroll around the busy harbor and see the fishermen selling fresh fish direct from their traditional blue boats. Go to the fortified harbor Scala to take amazing photos of the monumental Bab al Mersa (« Door of the Port »).

 

Then, explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the old seaside Medina. Wander the colorful souks and maze of alleys. Enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant, and then go to the old Jewish district to see the synagogues. Marvel at the cannons on the city ramparts

Day 14  ESSAOUIRA / OUALIDIA / CASABLANCA (370 KM)

Departure to Casablanca via El Jadida with a stop at Oualidia. Independent lunch. Continuation along the Atlantic coast to reach El Jadida for an orientation tour. Arrival in Casablanca. Check-in at the hotel; Dinner and overnight.

Day 15 CASABLANCA OR MARRAKECH  / AIRPORT

Departure transfer to Mohamed V airport for the return flight. Assistance with the boarding formalities.
