Full description

 

Day 1: Agadir, Taroudant, Taliouine, Tazenakht, and Agdz

After departing from Agadir, you will visit some Berber villages whilst venturing toward Agdz via Taroudant. You will take a small break in a charming town to discover the Argan oil which is a famous product in the regions of Agadir. You will then take a break at Taliouine, where you will discover the local saffron and Berbers. Next, you will visit Tazenakht, a town best known for its old traditional homemade carpets. From there you will head to the beautiful town of Agdz. Agdz means “resting place”, and is a well-deserved name for the place where you will spend the night.

 

 Day 2: Agdz, Tazarine, Alnif, Rissani, Dune Merzouga Erg Chebbi

Following your overnight in Agdz, you will have a delightful breakfast at your « riad » whilst enjoying the sunrise. At this point, you will take the road across the High Atlas Mountains to discover Tazarine, which is known for its production of Hannah. You will then travel to Alnif, passing through a wide variety of nature. You will then visit Erassani, which is known for its Moulay Ali Sheriff Mausoleum, a calm, peaceful, and historical place.

 

Arriving to Merzouga Dunne Erg Chebbi, you will enjoy a camel ride to reach the desert whilst complimented by the beautiful scenery of the sunset. You will ride until you meet your staff at the desert camp where you will spend the night staying in the desert whilst listening to instruments playing Sahrawi music.

 

Day 3: Dune Merzouga Erg Chebbi, Arfoud, Todgha Gorge, Dades Gorges, Roses Valley, Ouarzazate, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou

Following an overnight at Merzouga Dunne Eg Chebbi, you will savor a delightful breakfast and enjoy the sunrise by camel back. At this point, you will take the road back to Arfoud. This road is quite extraordinary and you will pass through the palms by many beautiful sights. You will soon find yourself exploring the fascinating landscape of Todgha Gorge, where you will take a short walk through the Todgha and Dades Gorges.

Next up, you will travel toward Ouarzazate where you will enjoy a delicious lunch. Following a small break and city tour, you will head to the Atlas Film Studio (Moroccan Hollywood) which has been built in an Egyptian style. You will also learn that this location has also been favored by famous film directors who have used it to shoot films and series such as Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and more.

You will then tour the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, before getting some rest in a relaxing, comfortable hotel at Kasbah Ait Benhaddou with a delicious Moroccan Berber dinner.

Day 4: Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, Taznakhet, Taroudant, and Agadir

After an overnight at Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, you will have a delightful breakfast at your hotel whilst enjoying the sunrise, before later returning to Agadir.
