Imperial Cities of Morocco 8 Days From Marrakech

 

This « Great Classic » of the guided tours is a discovery journey giving a complete overview of the multiple faces of Morocco. A departure is scheduled every week, independently from the number of travellers. The duration of this tour is 8 days, 7 nights . The programmed cities are Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes, fez, Beni-Mellal and Marrakesh.

 

DAY 1 MARRAKESH / AIRPORT

Arrival at Marrakesh Menara airport. Welcome and assistance by our local representative and transfer to the hotel in Marrakesh. Dinner and accommodation

 

DAY 2  MARRAKESH / CASABLANCA / RABAT (320 KM)

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Casablanca to join the group during the visit of Casablanca which is including the Mohamed V square, the United Nations place, the central market, the habbous sector and the exterior of the great Hassan II Mosque with the residential area of Anfa before strolling along the Aïn Diab coast dotted with swimming pools and restaurants. Independent lunch. Departure to Rabat and visit the administrative capital of Morocco with the Hassan tower, the splendid Mohamed V Mausoleum, the Kasbah of Oudayas and the Medina. Late in the afternoon, check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 3 RABAT / MEKNES / FEZ (270 KM)

After breakfast, departure to Fez with visit of the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the sacred town of Moulay Idriss Ist. Continue to Meknes. Independent lunch and visit of this city known as « the Moroccan Versailles » which was founded at the end of the 17th Century by Moulay Ismail. The sightseeing of Meknes will include Bab Mansour, the most preserved gate in Morocco, Hari Souani and the old medina. Arrival to Fez, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 4  FEZ

The whole day is devoted to the sightseeing of Fez; the most ancient cultural and spiritual city of Morocco. Visit of the medieval medina, the Medersas, the Karaouine mosque and the famous Nejjarine fountain. Independent lunch and continuation of the visit through the old medina where the clients will see different craftsmen still operating in the old oriental tradition. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 5 Fes – Anti Atlas – Ouzoud Waterfalls  375Km

After breakfast, departure to Ozoud Waterfalls crossing the region the middle Atlas and passing through Immouzer du Kander, Azrou and Ifrane, a charming ski resort in the heart of a magnificent cedar forest. Stop at Beni-Mellal to enjoy a moment of relaxation. Independent lunch and continuation to Ouzoud village . Check-in at the hotel or Riyad, dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 6  MARRAKESH

After breakfast you will have free time to explore the area and enjoy a stroll around the waterfalls take delight in the plants and local fauna,it’s very common here to find small macaques and eat in the bar overlooking the fantastic waterfalls.after lunch we go visit imi-n-ifri Naturel Bridge a natural arch with a height of 30 meters.

 

DAY 7  MARRAKES

The entire day will be spent visiting Marrakesh, the second oldest imperial city known as the « Pearl of the South» with the Saadian tombs, the Koutoubia, the Bahia Palace and the Menara gardens. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, visit of the souks, the winding little streets and the Djemaâ El Fna place with its various and non-stop entertainment: storytellers, snake charmers, fire-eaters and more. A Diffa Fantasia dinner will be served under caïdal tents at the famous «Chez Ali» restaurant while enjoying fanta sia performance with camel and horses shows, folkloric and belly dancers. Overnight at the hotel

DAY 8  MARRAKESH AIRPORT

After breakfast, departure transfer to Marrakesh Menara airport for the return flight. Assistance to the boarding formalities.
